HSBC Start-up Stars 2010

Now in their 10th year, the Awards celebrate the achievements of the best new entrepreneurial talent in the UK including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Over the last five weeks, the Regional Judges have sifted through nominations to find the most inspiring young business in each of ten UK regions. Escape Lodges have been shortlist as Scottish finalist, and will go in front of the National Judging panel.

Escape Lodges ( Scotland) Ltd have also demonstrated it's green credentials as well as the enviormently benifates of Escape Lodges and have won the Scottish Green Award and now go onto the National finals.

Judges where looking for businesses with a specific focus on environmental issues, who could demonstrate:
a proven innovative approach to climate control energy consumption and conservation - this could be a new product with superb green credentials an innovative way to reduce the impact of a business on the environment or a business that is dedicated to conserving dwindling energy resources.

Britain's brightest young businesses are announced, along with the entrepreneurs who run them.

The 60 finalists of the annual HSBC Start-Up Stars Awards have already convinced their own regional judging panels that they have the vital X-factor for future success and growth.

Now the businesses, which range from a company making Luxury Lodges in Scotland to a firm of architects in Hove, are hoping that next month they will be named No 1 in their region, with the chance to represent their area at the national London finals in October.
